What is microblading?

Microblading is done manually with a handheld tool to create hair strokes through the eyebrows the make them appear fuller. They are maintained every 12-24 months after the 6 week touchup appointment. Microblading is NOT good for oily skin types, large pores, or mature skin. It is perfect for anyone looking to replace hair, keep a natural looking brow, and create a fuller brow. If you are wanting to replace your brow makeup all together, try an Ombre Brow!

What is combo brows?

This technique is done with both a manual machine, and a tattoo machine. Combo brows take away the need for makeup, and also makes the brows appear naturally fuller with individual hair strokes. This service is great for all skin types. These brows will heal 30-40% lighter than the initial session, and are maintained by touchups every 1-3 years.

How long does an appointment take?

What is ombre brows?

Ombre Brows is done with a tattoo machine, and 1 single needle. It is less trauma to the skin than microblading, allowing for even fading, and less pain. Ombre Brows are maintained every 1-3 years. It is the longest lasting retention out of all services, and is the least harmful to the skin. Ombre Brows is great for all skin types. It's perfect for anyone looking to replace brow makeup all together. Brows always heal about 30-40% lighter than the initial session and leaves the brows looking "perfectly tinted".

What is a lash lift?

A lash lift is a perm for the lashes. It is a safe and painless service that takes about an hour to complete. It lasts about 6-8 weeks.

Does it hurt?

2 forms of topical anesthetic are used during the permanent makeup process. Ombre brows is very minimal to no pain. Microblading is a very tolerable amount of pain. Lash lifts are completely painless.

My name is Kassie Como. I am a licensed esthetician and 6x certified permanent makeup artist since 2015. I moved to Longview in 2016 and began my brow career at Ulta where I met so many wonderful people here in East Texas. In 2018, I took a leap of faith and opened Skin Studio and have been so thankful for the growth I have made since then. In 2023, I was voted into the ETX 40 Under Forty list for “Beauty and Cosmetics”. Proudly, in 2024, I was voted Best of East Texas for Permanent Makeup. I am constantly learning and educating myself on new techniques and services that I can bring to the community. I am proud to offer Longview the highest quality brow experience they could ask for.
